Well.
I suppose for the overall success of this season this is good news. But he won't be eligible until the last 6 weeks of the season. Plus he is definitely gone after this year so I have to question his motivation.

That being said, if VJ wants to win and play hard, this is GREAT news.

Well. Plus he is definitely gone after this year so I have to question his motivation. Well, that should be the point. His motivation is that he's looking for a mega-bucks long-term deal so you can bet he won't be loafing it. Now if only Jackson could also snap the ball, play linebacker, and be our playoff field goal kicker...

Why do we want him back and waste a roster spot on him? I would rather trade him and get something for him instead of letting him walk away for nothing. Plus who knows how hard he will be trying and where his head is. He has already proven that he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I think VJ is going to be the boost the slumping Chargers need. He is going to leave it all on the field, he is playing for a future contract somewhere else.
Hold outs are a part of the NFL, every player understands this, absolutely no malice business as usual.

Big f#cking whoop de do! Who knows if his heart will really be into it or will he be like Merriman and give no effort. He is just reporting so he can be a free agent next year. I would personally tell this clown to f#ck off!

I wish the Chargers could say, "Thanks, but no thanks. We don't want you this year," and not allow him to report.
He could have signed in June for $3 Million. He and his agent miscalculated, and now they're backpedaling. He should just take his TWO DUI's and go home.

If only the NFL had some sort of system in place where the Chargers could send him to another team in exchange for different players or draft picks. . . Oh well, maybe the league will come up with something like that in the next bargaining agreement.

That turned out really well uh.

I would personally tell this clown to f#ck off! What he said. He won't play until the last six games, and the Chargers will be so far out of contention it won't matter, even if he plays well. Which he won't. Screw him.
