Is this guy a commit or maybe or no or thinking about it? Seems to be a lot of uncertainty regarding him....more than most? Who's recruiting him?

CAL's getting better while we're having trouble beating mid-tier teams, we can use all the help we can get.

Yes they are and will have the newer rules for P5 schools . Depends on how much they feel they want him versus other recruits they may have on the radar or if he sees more PT here and quicker ? Believe we have an away and home with CAL in 2015 then 2016

Done deal, scout is reporting Rambo switched commit to cal 5-5 with losses on the road and a few total collapses, not hard to believe that Berkeley looks better for Football. And if he stays and gets a degree you can't knock it. But then again, only something like 40% of Cal football players graduate.

And us "real fans" are criticized for being too critical of the program. Some idiots say we're not real fans. Well, hope all you "real fans" enjoy seeing good recruits decommit and be OK with it. Enablers.

Enablers. Please tell us you're not dragging out that tired old argument that criticism of the program on this board hurts recruiting. But if you're not, I don't understand what your point is. Here's wishing Even Rambo good luck at Cal and if he or his family are reading this, here's hoping that if things don't work out for him there that he'll consider becoming the next Isaac Curtis or Herman Edwards.

Cal just revamped thier facilities they are tremendous. It is one of the if not the greatest public university in the United States.losing arecuit to ASU ,Wazzu,OSU, Colorado all good schools but not that different from SDSU undergraduate. However Cal UCLA,Stanford,USC aint going to happen. Oregon was nto all that until Phil the Bank pumped them up.

Lets admit it. I would have went to CAL if I got a free ride. The nations top20 university. FB or not CAL opens doors. I hope this kid is smart and plans to graduate. CAL has the worse graduation rate in the PAC at about 40% which just proves that if you get a free ride, finish it. Otherwise why go?

It ain't a pretty picture.

Yes but unfortunately the P5 schools are going to receive a lot of money for all their TV deals ( that includes even the lower rated teams 0 they also are going to get the recruits - with stipends money , full 4 or 5 year scholarships , insurance , .... The gap is only going to get wider between P5 and G5 schools. So all the Aztec coaches are going to need to verify the best they can, where they stand with any recruit who is also being offered by a P5 , although if they get a late offer from a P5 ,going to be hard to keep them .
