College Hoops Rankings on ESPN.com lists Winston Shepard as #63 in the top 100. I hope his play this season demonstrates that he is a top 50 player. link

Good for WSIII looks like Polee is outside of the top100.

He improved his game and maturity from his freshman to sophomore year. I hope he takes a bigger jump this year.

I hope Polee goes OFF in 40 (yes 40!) games this year like he did once he got some quality playing time towards the end of last year.

He just needs to take care of business and progress in his play and decision making so he can move up in those rankings. GO AZTECS!

I don't care where they rank him. He is a matchup nightmare. If he limits turnovers and improves on his shot selection he will help but his team immensely.

The dude is in dire need of a mean streak to help finish stronger. All the talent in the world, but he's been somewhat passive as a player attacking the rim.

He's going to have a big year. Hope he attacks the glass hard. Also hope he gets his FT% up a bit (75% or better?) because he will score a lot of points at the line.

Ranked top 20 by both AP and coaches, but no top 50 players and only one in the top 100? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I've never seen Winston as an offensive threat with enough talent to put it in the basket but more as a facilitator. Other than being 6'8", How does he get these high rankings?
As far as I can see he's still a guy with unproven potential.

This is the year that I expect both he and Spencer to break out offensively. No reason to $#!+ on our guy. Shep has all of the physical tools. This is the year that his decision making, aggressiveness, and skills will all come together.
