Neil Boortz, in an article linked by Win, said that when someone says that the science on a particular question is settled and there is no need for further discussion, that's when you know that the issue is NOT settled and that further discussion IS needed. I am not a scientist and do not claim to be an expert on climatology. I am willing to believe that our climate is indeed getting warmer. But perhaps we should not be so absolutist in our belief that we will not even consider opposing views. Along those lines, I suggest that the following should be considered carefully. . . www.gjfreepress.com/article/20091202/OPINION/912019978/1021AzWm

I neglected to mention that this thread was put in the Economy & Politics section because of the very significant impact this climate change debate will have on our economy.

I am also willing to go where data leads me. I have long ago discovered that these things are cyclical and we could have been in a warming trend for a number of years.
I am alarmed to discover that all this current discovery of the apparent fraud with the data has a link to the United nations. This may have been just one more intuitive toward getting us all under one world government.
It is also alarming to hear that some of the Global Warming honks are just ignoring the recent discovery of this fraud.

Here is a paper with some "inconvenient" truths. www.lavoisier.com.au/articles/greenhouse-science/climate-change/mcclintock-proofnotco2-2009.pdfI like the comment "There is a scientific truism that says, “Correlation can not prove causation, but a failure to correlate can prove non-causation”. If CO2 is our problem (with a potential 100 Billion dollar annual fee to ease the lefty's guilt trip), why would temps be going down these last few years when CO2 continues to rise? And how about the rising temps in other planets? It is explained away as being caused by other phenomena as they site the Sun is not a major player in their temp because it is too far away. They actually have no proof why they too are warming and have to say that or their argument here is lost. By strangely enough here, where the Sun is very near relatively speaking and dominates our temp, they effectively say that the Sun also does not contribute to our warming trend. Scientists indeed.
