Vance Jackson to play with MJ Cage at Mater Dei, but what about College?
From Scout:
The 6-foot-8, 210-pound hybrid forward is making the move from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco to Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei for his senior year.
"It's about my future," Jackson said. "I feel like Mater Dei will help me develop as a person and on the court. It's a national schedule and that will help me heading into college."
Where exactly Jackson will choose to play college remains very much in the air but he listed California, Connecticut, Maryland, Memphis and USC as the five schools recruiting him the hardest.

the two Jackson's IF a package deal would be quite a combo .
Is the family moving to the Napa area, or do they have family there, or is he living with someone ? you wonder why there are so many transfers in college , it starts with guys doing it in HS , AAU teams , footwear companies, guys being held back a year ....

The way he works the system, I can't believe he is considering SDSU, I an sure he is just looking to elevate his status. Bailey is going to be 2018 wherever he lands. Our '16 options are becoming very limited.

At least 50% of a coach's job boils down to recruiting the best guys for your school, then signing these guys . Would guess not the favorite part of Fisher's job . August into September trying to see who is actually interested in coming for a visit . As we have seen lately guys reclassifying , changing HS's , de -committing , adjusting their stories , using schools and schools doing the same to the recruits , changing or canceling their visit , ....... . Very challenging time for the staff . especially trying to get guys to come for a visit and then the signature during NLI . Not going to be easy getting the PF/C we actually prefer for 2016 , as the competition for quality recruits has only gotten stronger as we have tried to improve the program .

Stanback, Cage, McDaniels, Jackson, Bailey (play 2018?)...dangerous times, we don't want to get shutout at the 3, 4 and 5 spot. Especially with no Jones, and a rehab Shrigs. Teki Gill-Ceasar? He is a Canadian that played for CIA Bounce could be helpful. (Zabo played for CIA.) But, Oregon has done a strong job recruiting Canadians, adding Dillon Brooks and Dylan Ennis and remaining in the mix for Jamal Murray, who chose Kentucky. But we have fellow Canadian Nolan Narain as well which may be a positive for us.

Jackson was at UConn this weekend, is especially close with sophomore guard Daniel Hamilton, with whom he played at St. John Bosco. “We are like brothers,” he said. “I’ve been playing with him since the eighth grade."
Next up is an official to Cal on Thursday. Jackson said he is also considering Arizona and USC. Not a hint of the Aztecs.
