According to his June 15th Twitter feed the Aztecs reached out to 6'9" PF Eddie Ekiyo from Ottawa Canada. He has made the U17 Cadet Canada team this summer and has drawn interest from Aztec Mesa, VA Tech, U Mia, Florida, Alabama, Penn, Cuse' and Vandy. He was Zabo's CIA Bounce AAU club mate. I don't think he is rated yet.
"Work hard and never quit you will get to where you need to be. Stick with your goals. Balling hard, Ottawa. 6'9"

"Work hard and never quit you will get to where you need to be. Stick with your goals. Balling hard, Ottawa. 6'9" Learned about Ekiyor from this link.
Aztecs have also talked with E. Ekiyor -2016 Forward plays for CIA Bounce. Believe Leaf is a SF that looks as if he wants to play at Indiana . Do think Solomon could be solid contributor

" (Toronto, Ont. August 15 2014) – Canada will have an opportunity to play for fifth-place after defeating China in classification round play, 92-81, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Eddie Ekiyor (Ottawa, Ont.) led Canada in scoring and rebounding, finishing with 21 points on 10-15 shooting while pulling down nine rebounds. Jamal Murray (Kitchener, Ont.) acted as the offence facilitator; logging five assists in the game."
Ekiyor plays with CIA Bounce which is Zabo's club. However, with Wiggins and Bennett success, 6'9 Canadians are high on everyone's recruiting list.

Edward Ekiyor PF,rated #95 by Rivals , has been followed by Coach Hutson , at the start of the summer had Aztecs as one of his top 6 teams. As noted Coach Hutson has a connection with CIA Bounce and did sign former CIA Bounce player Kevin Zabo . Leaf is SF with very strong interests in attending Indiana.

Eyiko is the new Aflakpui, lets land a an east coast under-the-radar prep at SDSU. BTW, Zabo sounds studly, looking forward in watching him play this fall.

would be nice to see an offer extended to him . BTW, Zabo looks good on tape and hearing good things from the coaches practice sessions. Could CIA Bounce be the new Sacramento pipe-line into MBB? The city of San Diego, Mission Bay and Pacific Ocean has to be a much bigger draw then those cold Northeast schools. Sell SDSU its living the dream! 75 and sunny every day! No minus -40 winters and lack of sunshine.

And yet he clearly isn't anymore, stop bumping threads of players SDSU is clearly not interested in.
