Greenwood, Delaney, and Neal will be the 1, 2, and 3. The only real backup at all positions is 3 star freshman Adams. Very thin. PF and Center will be players without D1 experience, except for Agit, who is big and strong and had very limited time last year. He is still a project. PF will be manned mostly by JC transfer Goodman, who is athletic and could be good.
New Mexico is in a position like the Aztecs were in 2011-2012. Jamaal stepped up for us and we won the MWC title. They will need role players to become stars to be in the hunt next year. I really don't see anything that separates them from CSU, Wyoming, BSU, FSU, or UNLV. The middle of the MWC will be tight.

If they trot out Greenwood, Delaney and Neal at the 1, 2 and 3 for any significant amount of time against us we'll absolutely wreck them.

This year we should beat the Lobos home and away, next year they have transfers Elijiah Brown (Mater Dei) Butler and Timothy Williams would put up 18 a game at Samford added to the starting line up.

UNM has 13 scholarship players that I see right now. They return these players: Greenwood 6'3 205 PG Delaney 6'5 180 SF Edwards 6'6 205 SF Agit 7'1 225 C Neal 6'4 180 SG Williams 6'7 205 SF (red shirt) Non eligible Transfers Elijah Brown - Butler 6'4 190 SG Timothy Williams - Samford 6'8 210 SF Juco Jordan Goodman 6'9 200 JJ N'Ganga 6'10 260 PF freshmen Xavier Adams 6'5 190 SF Joe Furstinger 6'9 210 PF Tohiraukura Smith-Milner 6'9 215 - New Zealand PF Recent Transfers Tim Myers Merv Linsdsay Curious, for Jordan Goodman, what does "thrown off of UNLV PF" mean? My bad, Savon Goodman was kicked off the UNLV team and now is playing at ASU in Tempe, Jordan Goodman is a well traveled JC player. Two separate people.

Who will be the best player for New Mexico this coming year? Jesse Pinkman Yeah, he was a bit distracted last year and those distractions are now, well, gone. I like his "high" ceiling and think he could go far this year.
