IMO our record and performance in our OOC games will be even more important for our seeding in MM then our games in the MW . Also believe the BYU AD is also a member of the selection group for MM . So if we play them ,in the Maui T,result could be very important or if he watches any of our other games .

Neutral 11/24/2014 Maui Classic 11/25/2014 Maui Classic 11/26/2014 Maui Classic Including: Arizona, Kansas State, BYU, Pitt, Missouri, and Purdue.

I assume well pick up games against the cities Cupcake's: SD Christian, Pt Loma, or St Kate's. I am surprised were not playing UCSB or UCR. Aren't we gonna pad that State of CA win streak?

last year the MBB started out with a "controlled Scrimmage" at Stanford - closed doors ,no fans in attendance ,would be interesting to hear if we do it again . Believe first X game with fans was 11/1 -was it San Marcos , maybe again this year ? also had another great home game last year middle of November with Arizona . This year we come into the season with the hunt for a PG ,hardest position to learn , so it could a little longer for the team to gel. Game with Northridge 11/10 to get ready for Utah or maybe trying to get a game between 11/5 and 11/8 . Will be interesting to see where they put USD and Washington games. The Maui T is also very important with quality teams so hope there is time to get ready .

SDSU’s complete nonconference schedule is expected to be announced within a week - Mark Zeigler.
He also said the Aztecs will likely play 11/20 at Viejas. That is the Thursday before the Maui Classic and right before a Friday night football home game against AFA. It is after the Tuesday afternoon game against Utah. Busy week.
11/14 Aztecs v Cal State Fullerton 11/15 Aztecs at Boise (football) 11/18 Aztecs v Utah 11/20 Aztecs v ? 11/21 SDSU v AFA (football) 11/24 Maui: SDSU v BYU 11/25 Maui: SDSU v Pitt (I have faith) 11/26 Maui: SDSU v Arizona (I have faith)
13 days 8 games.
We don't know the date for the game at Washington but December is a safe bet because our dance card for November seems to be full.

the OOC games are very important . Where they put the game at Washington will be key and that the team has a least a warm up game before they play them .

the OOC games are very important . Where they put the game at Washington will be key and that the team has a least a warm up game before they play them . Every game is important. We have games on 11/14 and 11/18, there is no room for Washington before those. There are some key things for the Aztecs, when the Washington game isn't one of them.

Aztecs at Washington on Sunday December 7. Patriots at Chargers on Sunday December 7 at 5:30 PST. I will really get my moneys worth from my DVR that day. San Diego State is the most prominent opponent on Washington’s schedule. The Aztecs beat UW 70-63 last year at Viejas Arena before winning the Mountain West regular-season and conference tournament titles. SDSU advanced to the NCAA tournament Sweet 16, finished 31-5 and ranked No. 13. The Aztecs return junior Winston Shepard and Dwayne Polee II, who are considered NBA draft candidates.Picture in Seattle Times

Just to clarify on this, if the Nov 20th game is indeed actual then that's 10 games + 18, for 28. So we should, in theory, have 2-4 more games on the docket, most likely something between Dec 10th & 17th, and along with USD, between the 17th & 31st. Correct? If Maui plays out OK that's a pretty good schedule. Already 6 STRONG games (3 Maui, Utah, Cincy & UW). Agree, wouldn't mind seeing a St. Mary's, USF or someone like that from the WCC added. Love the fact we play UW on the 7th!! Hoping that's an evening game, as we're planning on being in the NW that weekend to begin with! Would be nice to add it to the travel docket! Should be a great game - Williams-goss is an extremely talented PG, and Andrews is a good 2. If Upshaw is allowed to play they'll be a tourney contender without a doubt. Getting stoked! Love football and will enjoy the next couple months but can't wait until opening tip! PS. Does SDSU do any/many open practices/scrimmages before the season? A "midnight madness"? Can't recall???

The game on the 20th could be USD so you can't count them both. What we know: 9 games + 18 games = 27 games. We are allowed 32 because of the 4 game Maui tournament (home game counted as part for some strange reason) That leaves 5 games that can be added. I suspect none of the games we no nothing about will excite any Aztec fan. I expect all of them to be home games and some to not be DI games. Saturday December 13 would be a good date for the USD game.
