No doubt there were several reasons for his decision and it probably wasn't an easy one. It's very difficult for kids that age to decide what is best for them... they are only kids. I will say this if any of you have seen the facilities offered athletes at Ore you'd understand how easily a kid could be swayed.
Wish the best of luck to him in his career. I was going to say I can't believe the hate and vitriol being thrown at the kid but then again this is AM and it's a constant on this board.

Congrats to him, have a feeling he is a bounce back player though. See you on the court in 3 with 2 left.

For now it's over and the decision was made. Please don't embarrass yourself and the school by saying anything derogatory to Michael Cage Sr. re: his son's decision. We may not like it but let's move on quickly and with dignity! On to the next recruit!
GO AZTECS!

Enjoy Oregon, Mr overrated. Maybe he will. But there's no need to get so personal with a player. Official Mod's Note - Let it go. Don't post personal attacks against players like that. You can be critical of someone's play on the court or on the field, but you can't go after them personally like that.

BTW, don't come crawling back here on your hands and knees when you decide to transfer. You will NEVER,EVER be your father. Smart choice not to further humiliate yourself. What a clown, give it a rest, sleep it off.

F him. He's overrated anyways. NEVER would have lived up to his father's footsteps. Smart choice not to embarrass himself trying to match his old man. Enjoy Oregon, Mr overrated. I hope you are a troll and not an actual SDSU fan. This is a terrible post.

Truth, you can voice your displeasure but do it without the F bombs etc. There are times when you are better served as a person and institution to take the high road and carry on as if nothing happened.

I predict that he'll flame out at Oregon and come crawling back here in 2 years. He would have been playing in his father's shadow here, maybe it's better he didn't come.

I didn’t read all the post so this may have already been posted. From a VERY reliable source. His high school coach said the NCAA issue influenced his decision to pick Oregon over SDSU. I wish him well.
