I posted over a year ago that I though Cage was over-rated after watching a bunch of film on him. I thought he was good, but not a must get. He's not super athletic. I've stayed quite since then, because I thought we were going to end up with him and didn't want to look like a jerk. Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to land him, but in my opinion he is not even close to a one and done NBA 1st round type. No way Kentucky was going to hold a schollie for him. This board really over-hyped him because he is a Cage and because he was rated so highly so young. Oregon is a good place for him. Wish him the best. Agree 200%.

F him. He's overrated anyways. NEVER would have lived up to his father's footsteps. Smart choice not to embarrass himself trying to match his old man.
Enjoy Oregon, Mr overrated.

BTW, don't come crawling back here on your hands and knees when you decide to transfer. You will NEVER,EVER be your father. Smart choice not to further humiliate yourself.

I'd take him in a heartbeat if it was a choice between he and Cage.

Wishing MJ Cage the very best of luck with Oregon! Heart-broken by his choice to not come to SDSU, but he chose what he felt was best for him. I love the Cage family, always have, and hope he goes on to have a successul NCAA and NBA career!!!
GO AZTECS!!!
