If getting into the PAC 12 requires us to admit guys like him I hope to God we never make that move. The guy can't even speak correct English and was not only admitted to Stanford but given a scholarship.

The guy can't even speak correct English and was not only admitted to Stanford but given a scholarship. He was salutatorian of his high school and graduated from Stanford. Meanwhile, you're a person posting about him on a message board with improper grammar. ("...can't even speak English correctly" would have been proper.) In short, he's smarter than you.

In fact, he would probably tell you he's "better at life than you"

But as mentioned earlier, he was 2nd in his class in high school and already started work on his masters degree. The fact that you just assumed that he was unintelligent because he was "loud" after a game says more about you than it does him.

Forbes.com StorySaw this a few minutes ago. It restates a bit of what has been mentioned here already, but also gets into the some additional aspects.

Forbes.com StorySaw this a few minutes ago. It restates a bit of what has been mentioned here already, but also gets into the some additional aspects. Classics: 12. It’s like we want them to be thinking, Well, that was a fine contest, and jolly good that we won. Which NO athlete is EVER thinking. 13. As a side note: Richard Sherman also called out Skip Bayless on Bayless’ own show, which trumps pretty much anything bad that Richard Sherman has done in his life.

Richard Sherman is a boss. I wish we had one of him at every position. Attitude, swagger, confidence, intelligence, dreads.

The fact that you just assumed that he was unintelligent because he was "loud" after a game says more about you than it does him. Spot on. I hated his dumb rant too but I don't see how it reflects on his intelligence. Just his character for acting so ungracious in victory. I also don't see how SDSU or realignment have anything to do with it. You really think we don't have some knuckleheads on our team? Sherman made himself look like a buffoon and bad WWF parody with his antics post game but you look nearly as foolish trying to connect dots not even in the same galaxy.

In the heat of the moment like that? Literally seconds after a play and confrontation with an adversary on a world stage?
Adrenaline trumps intelligence.

Let's rip one another's head off for 60 minutes for a chance to play in a game we've dreamed of our whole careers... but then as soon as the game is over, we'll have some tea and biscuits. Right.
I want guys who think they're the best players on the field every game and back it up, exactly what Sherman has done the entire season.
This thread is also 100% off topic and 1000% whiney as hell.

Did you by any chance go to Stanford?

No doubt, he cleaned it up quickly after the adrenaline drained out and was an excellent spokesman for the defense. That was an incredible play against one of the better "hands" receivers that got them to the Super Bowl. Yeah, I'd pretty much say there was some adrenaline pumping! Erin Andrews looked unsure where that was going though, it was kind of funny! Aside from this spot-on psot, the thread belongs in the pro sports forum.

Stick a mic in a guy's face right after the most emotional sports event in his life...that's what you'll get.
