It just has to be discouraging for young folks to try to strike out on their own. Here in California is even worse.

Twaddle. The author cites government regulations as being a reason for how hard it is to start a business, uses Dodd-Frank as an example. To you what, it should be hard to start a bank. The whole article is rife with such foolishness.

The Anti-Union Tribune just had a series of articles about business startups in San Diego. All were very positive.
