News: Strasburg ranks last in the majors in run support at 2.7 runs per game, the Washington Post reports. (Fri Jun 28) Tough start this year. They're doing it on purpose you know. Did you watch yesterday's game? Frankly, he was out-pitched and Arizona played well above themselves in the field. Stras brings out the best in other teams. It's baseball, things happen. He looks great though. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards I watch all of his starts... and no, he wasn't outpitched. Moving forward from the Arizona start, let's take a look at the last 3 Nats games... Nats score 13 for Gio, 10 for Zim... and Stras? I suppose Davey approves of Bryce trying to bunt his way on to start an inning? Really? The best hitter on your team... tries to lay down a bunt and gets thrown out by 15 feet? Zimmerman continues to commit ridiculously silly errors behind Stras... and oh yeah, the team fails to score a run with Stras on the mound. 4th time this year he hasn't given up an earned run... and in those starts... he's 1-2. How'd Storen look tonight? Such a great bullpen!

They're doing it on purpose, of course. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards 6 for their last 81 with runners in scoring position... absolutely pathetic. More fantastic work tonight from the $hitty bullpen. Stras' career is being ruined in Washington.

You think the Padres would be better for him? The Nats a just a few years from the first pick two straight years. Lots of up side.

Quality franchise with upgrades from last season who've been snake bit and some tough times this year. They'll be fine. ...or you could fire Claude Gilbert and see where that takes you, if you get my drift... Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards
