We've shown that we can do a great job of nation building in the Middle East already. Let's go in and screw up another one. It's time for the major players IN the Middle East to step up and police their own neighborhood. The U.S. has shown that it knows nothing about the culture and politics of the Middle East. They don't think or act like we do but we refuse to believe it. Syria is next to Turkey. Let them handle it.

The problem is that Turkey, along with Qatar, is making a major effort to get Muslim Brotherhood-related groups to take over Syria and install Sharia law. We may find that stepping aside and letting other countries work their will is not such a good idea. Surely there is a middle ground between doing nothing and trying to take over the whole show. AzWm
