It will have little effect. There will be a few more home runs and a few less triples. The main feature that limits offense in Petco Park will still be present. That is that the ball doesn't carry well. The dimensions were always a minor player. One positive is more plays "over the fence". That is always exciting.

hmmm, that's weird... these plans don't show the giant electric conduction rod that I proposed in last years bid, the device would be erected right behind center field and be used to remove the marine layer from the stadium creating a high pressure current which would allow for most balls struck by the bat to leave infield, as well as open a wormhole to the multiverse in which we fans would be able to get a glimpse at many of the other universes out there where padres ownership actually spent some money on starting pitching this off season so that we might be able to contend for something other than crap place.
