I think it is funny when I suggest that universal health care is what our country needs. The retired military here complain that I am attacking them. Very amusing.

Take away the benefit we paid for in advance then charge us all over again for diminished health care? Not an attack, a formal, thoughtful response. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards

I paid for my health care through my service. It included unpaid overtime, diminished wages, long, uncompensated periods away from home in arduous conditions with the possibility of being killed. and other treats. You missed my point. But again, I could find all your "freeloading" quotes you've made in the past to illustrate what you think of military care. We were recruited into the military and promised that after a career of arduous, life threatening service, to have our potentially diminished health due to that service taken care of. Now they want to take it away and make us pay for it ourselves. For folks that chose post service careers based upon that guarantee, it will be devastating for some. We are paying for your health care now. Come on troll! We paid thru the imputed value of reduced pay coupled with many arduous conditions you will never know. Grow up a little. Speaking of reduced pay, which the government still took taxes out of as well to help "pay" for our military health insurance.
