SDSU had 15 2pt field goals in their log of a performance last week.
NIU had 7 2pt baskets today.
NM had 8.
NM & NIU were both down by 14 at halftime today.

Good news: NIU grabbed 18 offensive rebounds. Bad news: They had more offensive rebounds than baskets and free throws combined (16).
Good news: NIU hit a three pointer and avoided the record for most 3's in a game without a make. Bad news: They were still 1-33 from long range.

Surely a lot of the better H.S. teams would have done better. AzWm

That Wyoming game may be the best thing to happen to the team this year. After that wake-up call, they've played their best hoops of the season by far.

Thank you Wyoming. Seems that slap in the face was just what this team needed to wake up. Defensive intensity & rebounding have been reborn.
