Thames & Tapley vs. Jamaal Franklin & James "the gunner" Rahon.
No contest.
Jamaal may have moments each night where he dazzles the crowd with his incredible God-given talents, but those moments are fleeting and certainly not consistent.
Absolutely stupid fouls, unwarranted and misguided 3's, the stop-and-let-the-guy-foul-you as he heads up the floor was pretty decent the first couple of times I saw it, but then it became obvious to refs what he was doing, and became more of a comical move than a strategic maneuver.
I dunno.
I absolutely positively believe Jamaal would benefit from another year on the Mesa.
The pros would eat this guy up for lunch if he left early for the draft !

If Jamaal leaves, I will be happy for him.
If Jamaal stays, I will be happy for him.

There is no "vs" in the equation. It is a "+" because all four are on the same team. Each brings certain benefits and certain challenges. Coach Fisher knows all of this and uses their talents accordingly.

James Rahon has an unbelievably high basketball IQ. He never turns the ball over. The only thing I can think is that he is stubborn about shooting the ball offensively on the fast break.
Other than that, this year he has been just about phenomenal at everything except putting the ball in the hoop.
