CSU out rebounded New Mexico worse than they out rebounded the Aztecs.
CSU Against SDSU 38.77% Off Reb % 81.39% Def Reb % 120.17% Total Reb%
CSU Against UNM 41.68% Off Reb % 79.41% Def Reb % 121.08% Total Reb%
CSU out rebounded UNM even though when Hornung went all physical to start the second half, like he did against the Aztecs, the officals actually called fouls instead of letting him knock opponents around at will.

I might be just dumb but I don't get your %. You're saying CSU got 38.77% of the total offensive rebounds in the game against SDSU? Or are you saying that 38.77% of the time, when CSU had the chance to get an offensive rebound, they did?

Or are you saying that 38.77% of the time, when CSU had the chance to get an offensive rebound, they did? Yes. CSU OR% = CSU OR / (CSU OR + SDSU DR) That is the only method to judge rebounding since even the best rebounding team gets less than half their offensive rebounds. The number of rebounds available different in games. For instance, last night the Aztecs had many more defensive rebounds available since Nevada missed many more shots. That means the raw rebounding numbers over state the Aztecs advantge. If the available rebounds were reversed Nevada would have had a rebounding advantage over the Aztecs - just not as much since the Aztecs had a higher rebounding percentage.

I say let James Johnson get in there and bang some! That dude came off the bench at the end of the game last night and had some pent up aggression. You can just tell, he's ready to do some damage!

Agreed, you could tell when he made that basket at the end of his game he put some aggression into getting to the basket

I bet Fisher is giving Johnson his chance to work his way into the rotation as he gains confidence in practice. Look for more from him before the regular season ends.
