I truly believe Spencer and Stephens playing together would be MUCH more effective than JJ and Stephens. We immediately get bigger, we subtract a bit of ball handling for rebounds, defense, and a strong matchup group. We've been saying it for a while but JJ just isn't cutting it getting starter minutes. A change needs to happen and I think that would be one of our best options. + infinity ...........

why just this year? this has been Fisher's M.O. forever... Which is why he's a horrifically bad coach. Rather than four consecutive 25+ win seasons, we would have four consecutive undefeated seasons if it wasn't for Fish. we would've won a few more NCAA tournament games, that's for sure...never said he was horrifically bad.

JJ is getting a short stick here. While JJ did have some trouble with shots greater than 4 inches from the iron this week, he is totally solid in so many other areas. JJ is a pretty damn good at many things. He had an off week. No biggie. JJ is a more developed player than many others. A good wide spectrum player. That said, I'd love to see way more Skylar and much more Johnson. Put 'em in coach - they are ready to play. Today. We do have to find a way to fix the paint. Our three point shot might be lost due to our weakness in the paint allows the defence to move out to the arc. Also, Jamaal has to start dishing back out to Tap when the drive to the hoop doesn't work. Refs are falling for the act when the drive fails - so kick it out to Tapley for the three. Taps numbers are way down this year because Jamaal tries the foul trick every time he goes down the lane. Tap is getting fully ripped off by Jamaal's lousy tricks.

Thanks coach. Hope you apply next time. You do realize what he's accomplished here, a School with a long basketball tradition before him, one of perennial losing and no effective program or history. So smart guy, if you were Sterk, what would you do about it? Put your constant criticism on the record. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards

C'mon man. JJ can take the ball up. JJ can play center. JJ is a decent 3. JJ is solid. Alright, last few games he's missed a few shots which shouldn't have been missed, but the guy is actually a pretty damn good player. Not only that, he can take nearly every roll. Here is what I think happened: it's all Rahon's fault. Rahon talked everyone into playing stoned. They all looked like they lacked energy according to coach. We know Winston wouldn't complain about joining in. So Rahon brought some new bud to WY with them and got everyone wasted before the game. To me, it really looked like everyone was stoned. They looked confused. They looked bizzare. They looked disorganized and unenergized. They simply looked like they all hit the bong before the game. OK - experiment over. Back to the normal alert selves. Quit hitting the pipe before the game. That is all.

Jamaal and Winston were running around like two chickens with their heads cut off, Not like they were stoned. JJ puts the ball up near the basket like he has alligator arms. Has all season. I think they have him playing the wrong position.

I like JJ and I often defend him, but lately he's just not a +. He's not a neg. either he's just a zero.
Give Skyler more time and keep Stevens. This would me you would half to get Johnson in more to spell them.

Coincidentally...or not...those same people feel the same way about Rocky.

Coincidentally...or not...those same people feel the same way about Rocky. No one, certainly not me, thinks any leader is perfect. Fish is who he is, has his unique style and has achieved success where none could be found. He readily admits his mistakes but he also coaches for the long run, hence playing players through issues and keeping the disciplinary actions away from public eye. Long is a solid coach but no Fisher. Few seem totally enamored with him but many value football coaching consistency as a great way to build a program back. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards

Wyoming's center, Anderson had his way with him. He went freely to the basket and got his own rebounds for putbacks. Spencer isn't ready to defend the bigs yet. He's good at blocking the smaller players driving to the basket though.
