I don't know the final stats but these guy Could find the ball. Spencer is gonna be good if he can muster a good shot. That left handed shot put thing is ridiculous. DeShawn gets an A for effort but doesn't block out, he just sort of puts his back on the other player. JJ is a scrapper James Johnson should transfer again. We get Pushed around way too much by big men teams

We get pushed around way too much by big men teams And tonight the refs seemed incapable of seeing any of it…

This is one of the best rebounding teams in the country in CSU. We will be fine.

Spencer is simply a stud on defense, better than Deshawn, IMO, I would like to see Fisher occasionally play Deshawn and Spencer at the same time.

JJ played really good tonight. Stephens was just over powered. Big J should have gotten a few more minutes. That block by Spencer was one of the best inside plays all night and reminds me how special a player he will be.

I'm not sure how anyone could even have a sampling size to determine if Johnson is a good player at this point.
He gets a few spot minutes, picks up a foul and gets pulled. His leash is short. Coach does not have confidence in him yet, but I'm not ready to write him off. He's looking for his space on this team.
To say he should transfer is lame and should be retracted if you want to be taken seriously.

Big J will have a break out game. Just needs a little more time. I have faith

he could just have performance anxiety. we know he's talented, but the more pressure we put on him the harder it will be to perform. needs to just relax and get down to business.
and to top it off, he's been out of the game for a long time

I think Johnson played some decent defense. I think most will remember when he seemed out of position on the dunk, but thats because he had to help out on a teammate who got beat. He's got the physical tools and capability to get the jobs done. I think by next year he'll be a 20 min guy. Right now, Im glad we have him to give minutes if needed; I mean we saw how depth issues can affect us against Fresno.

There was a huge article in the UT on all the work Johnson puts in. He clearly has the work-ethic, he just needs to get more game experience to feel more comfortable and relaxed on the court. He has that deer in headlight look right now when he gets out there.

Johnson will be fine. Give him the time he needs to knock out the rust and get his legs. Posters who call for a player to transfer after they have only played spot minutes in a few games after they have become eligible half way through a season are simply idiots.
Johnson will be a key part of this team, Fisher is taking the right approach in developing his players. Give the calling for a transfer a break.
Go Aztecs!

It seemed like Colton Iverson was killing us but he was 5-11 (FG) and 8-12 (FT). That is 17 possessions that ended with him and he got 18 points. One more point than possession. That is OK but we did a decent job defending him considering he is leading the MWC in FG%.
