We'll give Fresno a beat down at home too.

Definitely. Maybe I shouldn't be too worried since New Mexico did play both games at home.

The UNLV vs UNM was at the Pit, was not decided until the last minute.take the games as the saying goes "one game at a time" First need to beat a good CSU, then a very good UNLV team. Worry about UNM when they come here on the 26th. Need to win all home games then try to win as many road games as we can, and all road games will be difficult , as shown by the Fresno game.

SDSU is real good. But UNM has proven their worth thus far and should be considered the best in the MWC in terms of record (not potential or talent) this year. 4 top 50 RPI wins (3 away from the Pit), and a blowout today without our top scorer. For me it's between UNM and SDSU. Alford and Fisher are easily the conference's best coaches and both have a blueprint for winning on the road. Gonna be fun!

A little early to start bragging about RPI wins isn't it? Especially considering you got your ass kicked by #47 and #88.

Hobos squeaked by UNLV at home in no part thanks to shooting 29 free throws to 3 and got blown the F out by Saint Louis and South Dakota. Don't worry about who's the best, just make sure you god damn hobos keep your hands to yourselves when Jamaal comes to town to beat you down in the cesspit again.

We're not a very good team -- and I believe that we were missing two starters. Not exactly a winning set up when at home -- never mind in the Pit.
Yoda out...

Write us off for 'only' beating UNLV by 5, UConn and Cincy etc away from Pit. But they are better wins than the Aztecs own.
And yes the (other) SDSU loss sucked and we got spanked by StL in the first half during our second 7-day road trip.
But what is interesting to me is that using a mutual USC game in our schedule as comparison: USC represents SDSU's 5th hardest opponent. For UNM they were our 14th hardest. Our SOS will be top 15 in the nation, around 100 places higher than SDSUs. The occasional loss is to be expected. We didn't play DII opponents in December at home.
EDIT Using Fresno as another mutual opponent: SDSU has played 5 teams (no including DII) worse than Fresno. UNM: 1.
Still, were not a good offensive team. But are a greater threat for the MWC crown than the Rebels

You're not a greater threat for anything right now, you're 2-0. Both games were at home. Win on the road and let's talk.
