The pac# is a bad conf. Most of the teams can't hold serve at home as shown by Wazzu, Cal & now Coulorado!

Glad we beat UCLA early , they are going to only get better as the season goes on . Would be great if UCLA and Arizona finished 1 and 2 in the PAC. (as predicted). Do not be surprised if the PAC ends up with as many teams in March Madness as the MW

Let's make sure we have a separate thread addressing how each team sdsu played earlier does in all of their future games.

No. They're not a great conference and they're not a bad conference. Oregon looks good and UCLA is on the rise. Their top 3 is about on par with our top 3 and Arizona St/Washington are only slightly worse than CSU and Boise.

I'm sick and tired of people defending the Pac and saying "they are having a down year". EVERY year for the past 5 years has been a down year for the Pac. MWC is simply better than the Pac. OOC play proved it again this year. Go Aztecs!

Haha, Stankfurd just lost at home to WA! The Bay area schools can't even win at home.

PAC 12 is good, but the MWC is just much stronger from Top to Bottom and has been for several years.
I wish we could say the same thing for Football.

All we are saying is they are a decent conference, not to be overlooked, with 3-5 teams that have the capability to beat anyone in our conference. Are they as accomplished as they used to be? No. MWC is not better than the PAC until we start getting teams regularly past the round of 32. Regular season doesnt mean anything. /yawn

I like that the MWC is robust, but having mediocre teams fill out the middle and bottom of the conference really doesn't matter much outside of some potential RPI and SOS boost. All that matters is the teams that can make it to March, and what they can do there. Good teams don't brag about winning conference championships and regular season play, they brag about winning NCAA tourney games.
