Last year before we played CSU at their place CSU had a week off. So what, well we ended up losing by the largest margin of points for the whole season.
This year is the same, CSU has had a week off, only difference is that we play at home, and this is CSU's first league game.
Might be a good reason for us fans to bring energy, voice and sustain high levels of both for the entire game.
The Rams did an elfoldo against Colorado earlier this season when the C.U. fans brought some heat down from the stands.
I'm positive The Show and the rest of us can bring more heat then CSU can handle.
Go Aztecs

I get what you're saying. However, although our 2011-2012 schedule is nowhere to be found on goaztecs.com, IIRC the biggest problems with the game at CSU were a rare sellout crowd for them and it being a sandwich game for us.

CSU is legit...I can't wait until Pierce Hornung graduates. I hate that guy.

Agree about Hornung. I can't think of any opponent who gets more out of modest talent than that guy.

Hornung is the kind of player I respect. A bust his ass 200 %er. I will be glad when he moves on but I respect his effort. All Aztec fans are going to need to bring their bust your ass 200% support this evening.Check out the top of Section C's banners.

I'd love him if he were an Aztec. He has a knack for loose balls. He's the perfect garbage man. With JJ's situation, I'm concerned about him getting those loose balls a lot more. Good thing we have a much more athletic version of him on our team in Jamaal.

However, although our 2011-2012 schedule is nowhere to be found on goaztecs.com It's on there. There is a drop down menu above the "next event" header that goes back to Fisher's first season.

Found it. Thanks. So doing refreshed my memory. It wasn't a sandwich game. Instead, we played at Ft. Collins on the heels of the miserable plane trip to Laramie. MISERABLE plane trip. Gawd how having Wyoming in the same conference with us sucks scrotum.

I just do not understand Aztec fans who think any game will be a walkover. Any team that does not respect their opponent is a prime candidate for an upset. I remember when Don Coryell was Aztec football coach. We never played a team that Coryell did not say we could lose to if we did not play our best game. We need to respect each and every team we play regardless of the sport. Otherwise, we are setting ourselves up for an upset. Also, if we were to lose to a team that we feel was inferior what does that say about us? It says we were not as good as that team that we just disparaged.

People in other parts of the country have no idea how tough it can be to win at Wyoming.

We don't need to do anything and we certainly don't need a bizarre sanctimonious lecture. As long as the team is focused, that is what is important...the fans can do or say whatever they want on a message board and it will have zero impact on the outcome.
