It was a much higher percentage shot than Rahon coming around a screen and shooting while still moving sideways as he jumped. That is the shot selection I have a problem with. Also his fade away, that he made, was a low percentage shot too. How about the Franlin lob to Stephens? That was a great play. The play in question is like a coach going on 4th down. If you don't make it you leave yourself open to a lot of critisism. Are you talking about a curl off a pick where a shooter (not just Rahon in general) gets an open shot and should be able to bury? If the shooter is still moving sideways on that shot and doesn't land in the same spot as where he jumps then yes the shot does becomes harder to make. But if that shooter comes around the pick, rubs shoulders with the screener to prevent anyone from coming through, catches the ball and in one motion jumps straight up to take a shot then no. That is a way better percentage. If we are not talking about the same thing than my bad, continue on ;D

Every 2 point shot for Jamaal is high %, it's his 3's that drive me crazy. It's like he knows he's cold but he keeps shooting until he makes a few. I would lose any sleep if he didn't take another self created 3 all season.

That's Jamaal. The hot dog highlight reel that drives coaches crazy.
BTW FSU doubled teamed him in the first half and he threw the ball away for easy layups several times. He fills the stats on both sides, but he is instrumental to the Aztecs winning. He shouldn't think about leaving early for the NBA though.
