It was a much higher percentage shot than Rahon coming around a screen and shooting while still moving sideways as he jumped. That is the shot selection I have a problem with. Also his fade away, that he made, was a low percentage shot too. How about the Franlin lob to Stephens? That was a great play.
The play in question is like a coach going on 4th down. If you don't make it you leave yourself open to a lot of critisism.

Don't know if you guys noticed it but JF wasn't even looking at the backboard when he threw the ball off it. Makes the dunk that much more impressive.

Eamonn waxing poetic from that link: "Sure, I saw Franklin take on three defenders in transition, ball-fake one out of his shoes, throw the ball to himself from the 3-point line and then take a Olympic-style running long jump en route to finishing the finest two points we've seen in years. I saw all of that happen, numerous times. But it would be more accurate to say I saw Franklin dance across the sky of my perceptions while an angel choir hummed the prelude to Bach's "Cello Suite No. 1." That dunk was the first issue of "Watchmen." It was Cid's face in the cornfield in "Looper." It was the Beatles in Hamburg. I didn't see that dunk. That dunk saw me." Fooking poetic.

Just watched it (again). You want to see Jamaal's growth as a player and his situational awareness? Go check out what happens right after the dunk.
He turns his ass around and gets back on D.
There may have been some jawing or boasting once he got back to mid-court, but his first priority was to get back down and play defense. That was very nice to see.

SICK dunk! For all who recorded the game, watch the Aztec bench for Fisher's reaction. The bench goes off except Fish who did not even move an inch lol

I hope it doesn't make it on SC. No need to reward that play. …wife-beater t-shirt basketball fan?

It's the greatest in play move I've seen since Jordan's hand change in the 91 finals and his overall game, including the latest charge, is leading his team to defeat - now the great coach Fish has an opportunity to re-coach the former player of the year into a basketball player instead of a freak show. The quitters on the board never cease to amaze.

I've seen him do that dunk plenty of times on his summer mix tapes. I was wondering when it would show up in a real game.
