Was 10 at the half and quickly 20 shortly after. They made a couple half-hearted rallies, but tonight was FSU's night. They had five players (shooters) that were pretty much interchangeable and no matter if Burns went big or small they either out quick them or dump it behind the zone for a lay-up.
Rough one to watch, but they won't get beat in that flat-footed manner again, I'm sure.

Aztecs ... not Lady Aztecs Thank you! If only people cared as much about putting their asses in seats as they do worrying about (questionable) political correctness ...

If only people cared as much about putting their asses in seats as they do worrying about (questionable) political correctness ... I'm not going to hardly anything anymore but I hit all the home games for the women for 4-5. And those teams were mostly bad. Though, upon further inspection, while I don't disagree with the sentiment that they are Aztecs and not Lady Aztecs, the post above said Aztec ladies, which I'm not really opposed to.

Hmmm, that sounds weird. Let me try again:
I'm not going to hardly any games for any sport anymore.
I also used to love watching tennis matches too, though I haven't been since they opened the new tennis center. Oh, and volleyball. Makes me wish I lived closer, I'd surely try to go see some of the olympic sports more often.

Ladies may be in for a long season I don't think so. As rare as it is to say, I think Burns got out-coached tonight with some poor match-ups. Four seniors starting and injured/pregnant players working their way back into the rotation. Seems like the bad vibe from a few years ago when Jene, Paris, Jessika, et al didn't appear to be getting along on/off the court, but that was all put to rest by March and they rolled.

If only people cared as much about putting their asses in seats as they do worrying about (questionable) political correctness ... I'll admit that I went to few women's games when I lived closer and now pretty much zero. However, I do recall women's/men's conference double headers on occassion. This may be going back the WAC days, but I know I used to attend more when the men's game followed. I am not a fan of womens games on the same night/time as the men are playing on TV. Would that get a lot more people in the seats if the times didn't conflict? Probably not, but it couldn't hurt.
