Regardless of your feelings about Tulane or Boise, administrations like Tulane and USNA calling you out is no effin bueno. 1. It s generally unheard of to do. 2. Con job Bob Kustra whether deserved or not has Pissed of two very impressive Academic institutions. Man don't know what Bob asked of the BE, but it was enough to get the Academic slap down. Tulane despite doing nothing on the field or court the last 15 years has been a vocal ringleader for the also-rans. They led the charge that created the little guys having criteria to get into bcs games.

Lets be honest. If I was offered a $100 an hour and everyone in the same position was only making $50 an hour, I would turn it down out of fairness.

Yeah how can we fault Boise for taking the best deal available to them? We would do the same thing. You really can't. I hate this rhetorical bull$#!+ crusade of sorts because Tulane and anyone else would be dumb as f not to take a deal like the one Boise received. I think the Tulane guy was happy the BE didn't make the consession because its so one sided....and good for the BE. The MWC will feel the ripple effect if Boise continues its winning ways, but if the rest of the conference steps up, Boises benefits mean squat. The thing that can be interesting though, is setting a precedent that other teams in other conferences would want a similar deal. With the MWC giving so much to a single team based on performance, it isn't crazy to think other quality teams could join and get the same deal. So you have a hybrid conference where if your school is winning and getting on national TV, you don't have to share equally.....I could see this becoming attractive to schools.

Boise decides where there games go. CBS decides where everyone else's games go. So, not only do you need to win, you need to win so much and in concert with a couple other teams so CBS can't control your games. It's not that hard to figure out

It's not that hard to figure out Yeah, just do what monty does... Start with the conclusion that you want to reach and then work backwards until you invent the fact pattern needed to make the conclusion plausible. Yoda out... .

I think most people would take the offer. Boise is doing what is best for them. I totally understand. For sure. Boise is going back to a conference where nobody can beat them. All they need to do is go undefeated in OOC play and they'll be eligible for a major bowl.
