Already has a half dozen offers, Bland was in attendance for his game against Torrey Pines. No brainer. He and his teammate (who I thought was more impressive, personally) both need offers.

He cut his list to 10 I believe, SDSU was never going to make the cut (UNLV did), SDSU hasn't recruited him in a while. The last talk has centered around Duke/UK with AZ as sleeper.

Unless we make a decent run in MM , think we are still going to be considered second tier school - maybe light blue

Findlay Prep point guard Derryck Thornton is “50-50″ on reclassing to 2015 from 2016 and is considering playing for Louisville and Duke next season. Recent vine of the kid: vine.co/v/OlmPKeqXV2g

He has been talking with Duke lately for 2015 class if their PG from this year leaves for NBA . By the way his team lost in the Prep finals to the team from Florida who has the #1 rated recruit ,is it Simmons 6'9" , who also played in the MAC game .

Unless we make a decent run in MM , think we are still going to be considered second tier school - maybe light blue Been a fan since the 80's (through many bad years) and LOVE Fisher and where this team is headed, but to dovetail on your comment, why wouldn't we be considered a second tier school at this point? And why should we be considered ANY shade of blue? 1) Other than being to the dance several times in a row we really haven't made any noise in March 2) Other than a rare win or two against a "name" program (Kansas 2014), we don't beat big name programs with regularity 2) Reside in a mid-level conference 3) We play out west (The west is making some inroads, but still seems kids look east first) We are moving in the right direction, but this is still a 2nd tier program for a reason. Keep plugging away and we may change that but for now we still have much work to do. One recruit at a time, one year at a time, we will get there I think.

Look for Duke to be back very strong in MM for 2015-16 . Another great recruiting class .

Look for Duke to be back very strong in MM for 2015-16 . Another great recruiting class . Three 5 star kids, Thornton, Kennard and Jeter + a talented 6'11 3-star Euro. And 6'9 265 transfer Sean Obi able to play. They are gonna be good...again. Coach K is an artist bringing 5 new kids in a year, different then Kentucky.

Would be interesting to know the level of talent turned away each year by programs like Duke and Kentucky.
