I would rather not sacrifice our B-ball program for conference games vs. Temple, Memphis, Tulane, and Navy
No Boise = Deal breaker
for me

I do not believe we would follow Boise back to the slums in the MWC. We're moving on. That's a conference that is farm and ranch country boys with oddball San Jose. SDSU no longer fits their profile or their stagnation. Going back would signal a downword trend and assuming next year is Rocky's last, we won't get another coach of substance wherein we're locked in with this stable of teams that make up the MWC. Have you considered therapy? How do you really feel about the MW? This is an opinion board. What any of us think is going to mean d*ck when those in the real world make decisions we agree or disagree with. Whether the Aztecs move to the BE, stay in the MW, go independent or drop men's football and reinstate men's volleyball is not going to change the flavor of my morning coffee. i sincerely hope you don't consider the Coronado Bridge if the Aztecs don't live up to your expectations.

If the MWC is really going to renegotiate their deal with CBS, and that's what's keeping Boise around, then we need to take a hard look as well. If it's really about adding value through TV markets, then the MWC stands to make more $$ with SDSU in it. Who knows what the BE deal is worth now with Boise gone and all of the other countless defections. And of course Uconn and Cinci will end up in the ACC either way.

No. Either Fresno or Hawaii gets invited to the BE and BW as Boise's replacement. And we stay in the BE. If you think for one minute Fresno has any desire being in a conference without Boise, you are delusional.

I've read your comments twice, but I'm still not able to see any coherent thought in the mix. Keep working at it though. Perhaps more Omega3's? Maybe there's some low-T going on.

Can you elaborate please, in my opinion playing in the Big West hurts the program more than it helps It would take a hit but there's no evidence that it would kill it. So moving from a perennial Top 5 RPI conference to a perennial Bottom 5 RPI conference is not "evidence" that playing in the Big West will hurt the program more than it helps?

There is no evidence that moving to a worse conference will kill our already established program.

.seriously with Utah State San Jose State Colorado state wyoming and hawaii as bottom feeders..utah state is prob gonna fall back as their hc left for wisconsin. Would that be the bottom feeding San Jose State that has beaten SDSU the past three times they've met, and just finished the 2012 regular season with 10 wins and a Top 25 ranking?
