if Boise end up going back to the NWMC and then we have to follow suit. Then the MWC should seriously think about inviting Houston and SMU or BYU. Houston is a very large market and so is SMU 's market even though they are not the biggest draw in that market.seriously with Utah State San Jose State Colorado state wyoming and hawaii as bottom feeders..utah state is prob gonna fall back as their hc left for wisconsin.Houston and smu would make the most sense in adding to the MWC if Boise State in SDSU go back to the conference. Houston did have a top 25 recruiting class in basketball and they have a new football stadium being built as well Houston is a really big TV market in the metro area there they have about 8 million people in metro houston area which includes surrounding suburbs and cities as well...u of tex is a few hrs away from there and tex a&m is right up t. Road. In college station.. imo boise is goi g to start to fall off a bit as a program..they dont sneak up on anyone anymore.

The Big East would be garbage without BSU Not really, it definitely wouldn't be as nice though, especially without any decent western travel partners.

No. Either Fresno or Hawaii gets invited to the BE and BW as Boise's replacement.
And we stay in the BE.

No one besides Fresno or Hawaii, who would have homes in the BW for their Olympic Sports.

I do not believe we would follow Boise back to the slums in the MWC. We're moving on. That's a conference that is farm and ranch country boys with oddball San Jose. SDSU no longer fits their profile or their stagnation. Going back would signal a downword trend and assuming next year is Rocky's last, we won't get another coach of substance wherein we're locked in with this stable of teams that make up the MWC.

And we stay in the BE. no way that Hawaii gets invited to the Big East.big east possibly could go after utep n fresno... not sure where unlv stands with their invitation.. I still lmao cause staying in mwc cause bsu does only adds football to be relevent in mwc versus where big east football witb Usf ,houston , ucf ,east Carolina, cinn, conn, smu. Is still better than a mwc with 2-3 good football teams in bsu, nevada, fresno and 2 good basketball programs in new mexico , unlv.. Conn, houston, cinn, sdsu would make 4 good football and basketball programs combined.. (as of nos louisville will end up in acc) and im not including rutgers.. ucf, usf, east carolina, smu have all been. Bowl teams recently succesful in last 3-4 yrs as well... overall much better than dealing with the wyomings of the world.

but we fit in with Tulane, ECU, and UCF? How do we NOT "fit in" with them? What's the difference whether we fit it or not? ---Would you rather establish recruiting footprints (however small) in Florida and Louisiana, or Laramie and Colorado Springs? ---Less significantly, would you not want us to be associated with Tulane's academics? California, Arizona, Texas and Nevada for recruiting

I would rather go Indy, PAC 12 teams are willing to sign home and home. So see if you get 4-6 a year pac12 teams then fill from there.

No more BYU unless the rules are changed to mean you get one redshirt year max no matter what your religious beliefs are.
No more 25 years olds playing 19 years olds....if they can't comply, let them play as an independent or cheat in some other league.

I have a better chance of having a 4 some with Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, and Scarlett Johansson than the chances of Sterk even considering going indy.
