Just being honest, I am not a complainer usually. I understand the entertainment value in a concert, a ballgame, whatever. If I elect to pay the dough, I go with a smile on my face. But I am sick and tired of the increasing, ridiculous cost to catch a Chargers game. I was just looking at Week 2 tickets vs. the Jags. When I clicked on the $87 tickets....only View section was left. I refuse to sit anywhere but Field, Club, or (my usual) Plaza. To get in the plaza...corner of the endzone not even near midfield....is $107 each plus service charges. Unreal! Obviously I am not alone in my complaints, given this article below, and the growing blackout concerns (even at Charger games). Bring on the HD baby! www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5j7kWyem-v53wYRI49dM0ckTWmZWAD9I41FTO0I only would go to 1-2 games a year but this is still ridiculous. It's the principle of the matter. Whats parking now, $30? $40? Beer, food....we're talking $200 a person to go to a Sunday day game. And it's not just the home opener. All the games. I ain't paying $100 to sit in plaza vs. the friggin jags. I guess I'll be home in front of the 42-inch HD. To hell with it! Well, life´s not fair....just because you can´t afford it doesn´t make it wrong. I can afford it just fine. I choose not to pay it. I can afford UFC tickets here in Anaheim OCt 21st also....but when I saw 200 sections were $300, I said f that. I feel better about my decisions. To each their own. If you feel better at the end of the day that you spent $200 or more to watch the Chargers rout a boring and s#!++y Jacksonville team, then more power to you.

I have seen exactly ONE Chargers home game in person. That was the season finale in 1974, and I got my tickets FREE. I agree with those who say that Aztec tickets are a bargain. Remember that many BCS schools regularly charge $40, $50, or more even for mediocre seats. AzWm Aztec tickets are the best entertainment dollar in town. Cheapest Charger ticket I believe is $54 bucks. $54 where? For the Jags game, the CHEAPEST...in View, was $87 plus service charge. Check ticketmaster for Cardinals game.

Awww, perfect weather, partying with a bunch of friends and family, checking out all of the "talent" walking around, watching the Chargers lay the smackdown on the Jags. Not many better ways to spend a Sunday afternoon IMHO.

I just sat on the couch and watched the game with a few beers. Nice to seem a win.

I think you should change the thread title to "Expensive ticket prices" since the Chargers haven't raised ticket prices on over three years. Last paragraph: www.nctimes.com/sports/football/professional/nfl/chargers/article_3c6f9171-ed03-51d8-8dec-b1205dc6374d.html They also have some of the more affordable seats relative to the rest of the NFL when you look at the top end pricing. And yes they do have $54 tickets. www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2010-05-11-ticket-prices-mainbar_N.htmAlso when they raised parking to $20, it was to catch up with the rest of the league. The Chargers have been more than fair to their fans regarding pricing when it comes to the rest of the League. Oh, and by the way, our seats are in view and they are great. Go ahead and pay money to sit field level where you have to stand the whole time and still you won't see sh*t. Then tell me how bad the seats are in view when you can see the entire field which allows you to see the plays develop. I'm surprised an educated fan such as yourself, whom I'm assuming has been to many football games, doesn't know that.

I just personally prefer plaza or club. I can see the plays develop just fine from there, and the players aren't as microscopic.

The $54 tickets werent showing on Ticketmaster for JVille or Arizona, must go quickly. I wouldn't want those ones anyways. It'd be nice to sit Plaza for $80 but I get it.....it is the landscape of pro sports today. No biggie. I'll probably wait til the Monday night game to get tickets, i got a face value connect for that one.

Gringo, They did raise them for 2008 season, but not last two seasons. Which is justifiable. Around the league, they arent bad in SD. I was just surprised at the fact that the MINIMUM going was $80-something and it was in view. Had to go over a c-note for plaza. Surprised, but in perspective, it aint too bad. www.chargersgab.com/2008/02/02/chargers-to-raise-ticket-prices/

Lower view, around the 35 or 40, are the best seats for a football game. You can see everything and watch plays develop.
As far as the complaints go about parking and bs food prices, you can thank the greedy City of San Diego for that. They own it ,they charge it.
Leave Al alone :)Go Raiders!!!!
