We could possibly have three +50k games next year minimum.
BSU/Oregon State/Skyshow[SMU/Temple?]
Home opener of 30-40k
We could have monster attendance next year. We HAVE to beat BYU to make it happen though.

It is a good schedule. Now, anybody want to guess who the opponents are going to be in 2014?

2012 North Dakota (4-6) #182 (FCS) Army (2-9) #121 San Jose State (9-2) #28 (not nearly as good a game when it was played) Air Force (6-5) #84 Colorado State (3-8) #113 UNLV (2-10) #135 Hawaii (1-9) #149 Average (4-7) #116 Conf Only (3-8) #120
2013 Eastern Ill (7-4) #154 (FCS) Oregon State (8-2) #15 Boise State (9-2) #25 Cinn (7-3) #40 Temple (4-6) #80 SMU (5-6) #92 Average (7-4) #68 Conf Only (6-4) #59
I think the attendance would be much better even without this year's success pushing the numbers. With that push we may see a big jump. 50K average? Could be.

Great Schedule!! - Travel wise, I found this at the Houston Chronicle: "San Diego State will travel 14,300 miles with games at Connecticut, Louisville, Memphis and Houston. Boise State will travel 11,580 with games at Temple, Cincinnati, SMU and San Diego State. Here is a look at the travel mileage expected for all 12 Big East teams: School Miles San Diego State 14,300 Boise State 11,580 Houston 10,104 Temple 9,224 Rutgers 7,666 Cincinnati 7,208 Connecticut 6,746 UCF 6,644 Louisville 6,333 USF 5,950 Memphis 5,906 SMU 5,504 Longest trips 1. San Diego State at Connecticut (4,980 miles) 2. Temple at San Diego State (4,720 miles) 3. Rutgers at Boise State (4,280 miles) 4. Boise State at Temple (4,220 miles) 5. Cincinnati at San Diego State (3,720 miles) Note: Mileage is round-trip from nearest airport to school." blog.chron.com/cougars/2012/12/cougars-will-rack-up-frequent-flier-miles-in-inaugural-big-east-season/

Moreover, no flights and then a 3 hour bus trip.... I am sure RL would agree it is much easier to fly to the east coast then to play a game in Laramie. The Aztec football team flies charter, and has flown directly to Laramie Regional Airport for several years. It's about a 15-20 minute bus ride. Travel isn't the issue with Wyoming; it's the market.

Man I love this schedule. Going to be a huge year. Have to beat Boise here...
Interesting that the bsu/sdsu pair skips the Florida schools while the TX pair will skip the Cin/Lou pair. Gives them an easier road but the games aren't as sexy as playing cin/lou. We do get a break playing @ UCONN whereas they send BSU to Rutgers.

9-3 or 8-4 would be good next year, much tougher competition but were a better team overall.

We HAVE to beat BYU to make it happen though. I would think Cincy should draw a big crowd too? This is a legit schedule in a legit league - even if it is only for one year. We will be a better team, but most likely will have a worse record given the strength of schedule.

Winning 3 of the first 4 OOC games will play a huge factor in home attendance. 2-2 looks likely, should be interesting. I wonder how soon Boise will be on the schedule? I wonder if they will schedule that one during "rivalry week"?
