In a thread on the main board regarding "Next year's MBB team", I made the statement that I didn't think there would be any high profile HS recruits coming our way for 2013. That Allen and Williams are it. I tend to think that we have a better chance at an impact transfer. Someone pointed out that WS committed late in the process. Does anybody have any names that are still out there that have SDSU on their short list?

Winston verbally committed during the MW regular season last year, so he could not sign his binding LOI until the spring signing , in April. There are the players mentioned , above ,maybe contact other names that have not signed, plus you have JC players, and players who can transfer (enroll in Jan 2013 , sit two semesters and play starting after grades are posted Dec 2013 .i.e. J. Johnson.

Yeah, my comment was saying that those two guys are it for HS recruits. I know Allen and Williams are good gets. I would just be really surprised is some other high profile HS recruit comes to SDSU in the 2013 class. I certainly haven't seen anything on this forum that indicates that there is still a high profile kid considering us, not since Hamilton made his intentions known.

Don't think Rashad gets a offer, he's more of a Santa Clara type recruit level. Wade has big time upside.

I think the staff will make a push for Wade but will be battling other schools in need of an off guard in the spring. Other than that, maybe a JUCO big man or scoring guard or a transfer. Next season is going to be rough, IMO. Will be an athletic team and a very good defensive team, but X and a freshman Shrigley will be heavily relied on to score the ball. Unless for some crazy reason Jamaal comes back for his senior year, but thats very unlikely.
Still a 20-24 win team next year, especially being in the Big West. OOC will be insanely tough (Kansas, Cincy, Temple, Memphis, Arizona, USC, DirecTV Classic, etc).
