Greed by the insurance companies does. The problem is that the California Department of Insurance cannot regulate health insurance rates like they do with auto insurance. Auto insurance companies MUST justify their rate increases. Health insurers don't and can do whatever they want.

Do you mean that all of the new requirements resulting from ObamaKare have no cost attached? Did you just fall off the turnip truck? Obama should thank people like you who have no thought process for letting him put us in this mess.

My salary is $49,700 per year by the way...
Does the government take a credit card? And, can you let me use yours?

Typical libexxl...no debate and no discussion, just cussin'...
How do you want "substantiated"? Would you like to cut the check for the health insurance yourself? That'd get you "substantiated". You have no clue about reality.

If it is a personal plan then the general figures are already on that companys web site for comparison shopping purposes. I just did a quick search and the most expensive I found, in California, was $1,800 per month for two people at 60 years old. I still call bull$#!+.

(this phrase was moderator approved) Finally a break through. Some libexxl is asking a question. Wow sir. Let's start. First of all you know that we are taxed to death in this country. For every dollar that comes from your hourly wage, your government spends two dollars. Could you imagine that if, instead of the dollar withheld and paid to your government, it went to a business that hired employees? You couldn't could you? Starting in 2013 the governments are taking half of my hourly pay, and then when I spend any money I have left, the government is taking another ten percent. So if I have to pay health insurance, I must earn sixty percent more in earnings. You look at the world in a net paycheck, and I see the cost of my gross wages. If you have to pay $2,000 a month in health insurance, you must earn $3,600 a month just to pay it. One twist, I also have to pay liability insurance, workers' compensation insurance, obamacare insurance, the employer's fica portion that employees don't have to pay, unemployment insurance, employment training tax, babysitter tax, and do you want me to list the next 15 hits I have to take from the governments? Factor them all up, and apply the rates to what I have to make to pay health insurance, and my figures come in low. Note to reader: the HAM has disappeared from my posts on this forum. It has been swallowed-up by the libexxls' buddy whose name is: TAX

I see no lucid or written response that is anything other than lazy. You refuse to debate. You failed to get a quote for insurance that included two dependent children. You failed to gross up your earnings required to pay the insurance bill and you failed to post anything other than name calling.
I read Mitt Rom Knee's tax reports. His tax rate he paid for one year was 32%. The little liars reported that he paid 13%.
I do not understand your use of "bobbing and weaving". This simple and trite response isn't working and is very unclear what your mind is doing. Or, is you mind not doing a thing?
