The cash for clunkers thing has sort of added a layer of confusion to the market. I hope it stops. Sales that are tax payer subsidized are not healthy.

They are for the taxpayers who are now able to buy new cars. But of course you want it to stop. It's a success and you hate any successes for this administration. =Bob

Those companies are already bailed out at taxpayer expense and now we are providing additional help in the form of subsidies to buyers? How does that make any sense. When you figure that one out, tell me why Toyota and Honda get the same deal. They say they are taking gas guzzlers off the road and reducing our demand for gas. That may be true, but it is also destroying some cars that could help needy families either in transportation or like Father Joe does. That program is just about a complete waste of taxpayer money for a little "green gain".
