There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an 'ulterior motive' ... She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids..) She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.. During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family.
Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted.
Recently, Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize ... She was not selected.
However, Al Gore won, for a slide show on Global Warming and Barack Obama won for a speech on peace.

Global Warming is becoming a Bigger and Bigger problem. Hundreds of millions are going to be starving in the next few years because of severe crop damage brought on by the increase of temperatures in all the farming countries. We are beginning to see the start of massive droughts.
The Republican Party being the party of the overly rich warmonger class should consider spending some money to buy grain for the starving blacks of Africa and Haiti. I know their attitude is "Let them die!" but since most Republicans also claim to be devout Christians I know that Jesus will correct them seriously if they continue to take that attitude.
Obama is doing a masterful job of bringing peace to the Middle East. Already we have removed combat troops from Iraq and if we get an appeasement agreement from the Taliban, we will be able to withdraw our troops from Afghanistan with the understanding that the Taliban will not try to retake the country for 16 months (12 months would be too obvious, so the agreement worked out between Hillary and the Taliban will be for 16 or more months of peace. It will essentially be the same type of agreement that we worked out with the North Vietnamese in which we had their agreement to wait until our fighting troops had been out of the country for 12 months before the renewed their efforts to take the South.

Too bad you ruined it with your last sentence.

Win's last sentence is quite appropriate. The Nobel Prize, at least in some categories, has become totally political. Just think of this case as being similar to Marshall getting stiffed for the Heisman Trophy. Does that make it clear for you?

The lady is much better off not being included on a list with those frauds.
