I think UCLA is arguably the most underachieving team in the west coast. I am not sure why Howland is still around, particularly given all the team issues he has been having lately.

Definitely the best ending to a game this year so far. You just felt like UCLA was gonna some how pull this one off...Goes to show ya, anybody is beatable. maybe Irvine CAN win at UNLV ;D

Who's the kid who missed both free throws when all he had to do was hit one and UCI wins the game in regulation? He'd fit in well on our team right now lol. UCLA may end up being crap, too early to tell. We need to stomp them then hope for an Arizona matchup. They're more likely to stay ranked imo.

The guy on the line with 2 seconds left had a look on his face like "crap, why me?" And I knew he would miss them both

Only saw the a last 3 minutes and OT, but Jordan Adams looked legit and was perfect from the line 14-14 ( around there). The bruins pg, Drew, plays how I figured lbf would be playing by now.

From what I saw last night, UCLA looks athletically inferior to us and definitely beatable. We need to beat them this year.

Their bigs are slow.
UCI was battling inside all night.
If we can establish a good post presence against them and make the extra pass, we have a good shot at beating them.

I hope they have Shabazz because if not, we are going to destroy them. They were not impressive at all. I want them fully loaded December 1st, and I think we can still beat them.

too bad. UCI will rue this loss if they are fighting for an at-large.

UCLA is huge and will tower over us. They are also integrating some new highly recruited players. They will be very tough. Jordan Adams is a star in the making.

They may not be as good as the 'Cuse, but they are UCLA don't forget, dude, and they do know how to play. I believe it will be a close & tough game vs. them at the Honda Center. The main thing we do have going for us is experience guards, and a good close knit team with a lot of long arms. They have just about everything else, and even if they are still learning about their teammates they will give us all we can handle. It will be close and exciting the way I love it! Take your heart medicine!

I didn't realize that smack talk won games. If that were true, then UNLV would never lose another game in any sport.
Well, UCLA's win favors us in RPI. How close it was, gives us fans confidence for the Wooden Classic. I hope the team takes them every bit as seriously as they need to. Of course, Fish and Dutch will see to that.
Go Aztecs!!! Go Anteaters!

I don't care if they lose every game up to that point, we can't take them lightly.
