Here's a UT article on junior, Royce Freeman, a running back from Imperial. Calls him a man among boys and he will break Ricky Seale's all-time rushing record. football.utpreps.com/news_article/show/191609"Last Monday, Freeman spoke with University of Washington running backs coach Joel Thomas, who had watched a highlight video on Hudl.com in which Freeman, confronted by a defensive lineman at the line of scrimmage, uses his off arm to throw the would-be tackler to the ground before racing 15 yards into the end zone. The reserved, understated junior beamed after his first phone call with a major college recruiter."

SDSU has talked to him, so that's not entirely accurate.

SDSU has talked to him, so that's not entirely accurate. Guess we're still mid-major

Checking on Scout and Rivals, the only schools on his interest list are USC, UCLA, and Cal. SDSU will really need to kick butt and take no prisoners next season to attract him to the Mesa

You can't make somebody like you but you can entice them to take a look.

SDSU has talked to him, so that's not entirely accurate. Just to add to K5's comment; SDSU has been aware of this kid since he was a soph, and has been on Imperial's campus to meet him. Trust me the Aztecs are very active when it comes to getting out there to look for talent.

The IE's best this year are better than the Pac 5's best sans Narbonne and Mission Bendejo.
