After watching the Scout interview and listening/seeing Isaac respond to the questions it has become apparent to me that SDSU is in the caboose position. He has taken final visits to Baylor, UTEP, UNLV & UCLA. He was very hesitant to name his 5th final visit....could be Wash., could be SDSU or could be someone else.......he doesn't know or won't say. There was no excitement, etc. when talking about SDSU other than a good coaching staff with Bland and Fish. A far cry from all his other interviews previously when talking about SDSU. Somehow, somewhere the passion for us has gone. Is it because he now feels he wants to be a shooting PG rather than a SG and feels others are a better fit? Don't know, but we should be engaging in Plan B immediately in my opinion. Honestly he could start off as a combo guard 1/2 for SDSU, mainly at the 2 his freshman year and then work his way to 1 for sophomore year. X Thames will be graduated by this time and he should get easy PG time if proven he could start at PG in NCAA. Shepard has a lot of versatility and if Isaac Hamilton were to come in, I'd assume Shepard to play 2/3/4. Doesn't seem like a bad deal to me, but whatever option he picks besides SDSU, we should respect it and move on.

Looks like Hamilton may end up taking another visit to SDSU. This seems like it could take a while...
Mike Recruiting @richardsonmike2 Isaac Hamiltion tells me he does plan on visiting San Diego State again, to "really evaluate everyhing". Will commit mid to end of season.

Getting an offical vist would be huge. After every visit he becomes swayed, went to UTEP, and suddenly UTEP is a pleyer, went to UCLA, suddenly they become #1, goes to UNLV, now UNLV is the team to beat. We need him to spend time here, and moe than just a game.

JF already has one foot towards the NBA already and we wish him the best so Issac can step right in and play. Very easy solution here.

If he makes a decision in a week or so we wont have a chance, because he wont get to SDSU.

Rebelsfan43, can you read? No, he is probably right. Just because all of the recruiting experts are saying he is going to wait to make a decison, rebelsfan43 knows more than them.

Well, there actually is a new Rivals article that indicates he may just make a decision in next couple weeks to get the process over with, but he also said he was still likely to visit SDSU.

He isn't coming to SDSU. Because rebelsfan43's brother's friend told somebody he wasn't.

Well, there actually is a new Rivals article that indicates he may just make a decision in next couple weeks to get the process over with, but he also said he was still likely to visit SDSU. "If I feel like it's the right move, then I'm going to do it and get it out of the way stress-free. These phone calls and everything else have been crazy." "It was more of the way the schools recruited me. The big name doesn't wow me. I want to go and play for a coach that will really let me play my game because that's the only way I'm going to get better." "At the end of the day, Hamilton says that the most important factor to him is whether or not he really feels he can trust the coach of the school he picks." (Would be hilarious if he chose UCLA after saying this, but I've seen crazier with Shabazz.) "I'll probably want to make it in about a week or so if I can," said Hamilton of a timetable." Some quotes from Hamilton and Bossi. "Tight race between UCLA, UNLV and UTEP. Would have said UTEP or UNLV more recently but UCLA making a strong push. We'll see within at least the next week I suppose." -E. Bossi

It amazes me how much time people waste on speculating what a 18 year old might be thinking.
