UCLA just signed another guard, that makes 3 this recuiting period. I had a feeling when the got the third guy that Shabby-bazz wasnt going to make it. Too bad.

Sounds like a big unknown. Dec 1st will come up quick. NCAA is usually slow with these things.

Irvine, Cal Poly, Northridge, Long Beach - looks like UCLA is an honorary BW member this year.

It probably won't matter too much for this UCLA team. Kyle Anderson, Tony Parker, Jordan Adams are more than capable of picking up the slack.
Aztecs will have their hands full vs. UCLA, it should be a terrific game.

Not for the season, only for the first game. The number of games is still to be determined.
Signing the guards for next year has nothing to do with his eligibility this year. UCLA has a senior PG and Shabazz is definitely a one and done player.

UCLA has a senior PG and Shabazz is definitely a one and done player. That's not true, as I understand. The NCAA ruled him ineligible because he no longer has amateur status. That means he will never be able to play a college basketball game for any team - it's an all or nothing thing. UCLA plans to petition the ruling, that is his only chance to play. It will take time for anyone to even look at it again.

If this were SDSU it would be a dead issue. With UCLA's rep and money, I won't be surprised if he's reinstated on appeal by conference play.
