if you can correctly predict supply and demand 3 years out you should have run for office yesterday For a game against a nationally elite program? Yes there will be huge supply and demand. Inaccurate. There will be huge demand and static supply. Thus prices go up. That's how it works. "Huge supply AND demand" means very little.

Laying money down right now Kansas backs out of the second game.....somehow. Well, at least that's how it works with the football bluebloods.

I wonder if not being under the thumb of the MWC TV contract is helping SDSU schedule these types of games.

This has to be about the best month and a half ever at SDSU. The good news just keeps rolling in. Knock on wood.

I wonder if not being under the thumb of the MWC TV contract is helping SDSU schedule these types of games. I would have to say yes to this even though I don't know the real answer. No doubt in my mind that ESPN will pick up the game at Viejas in two years, which makes playing us more "viable". I will have to admit, though, that with the SLAP to the face that our RPI is going to take when conference play starts in the BW, it's going to be very important that we actually win these bigger games; we almost don't have a choice.

Never said prices wouldn't go up. there will not be 'huge supply and demand'. there will - hopefully - be huge demand. supply is capped at 12,414, but trying to predict actual supply would be damn near impossible. depends on any number of things.

I wonder if not being under the thumb of the MWC TV contract is helping SDSU schedule these types of games. Got nothing to do with it. Becoming a nationally recognized program is something we haven't had until now.

Is this a peace offering after the shady way they recruited Kevin Young off our campus? Absolutely not.

Becoming a nationally recognized program is something we haven't had until now. It absolutely has everything to do with it. We can tell Kanas this game will be on ESPN. We could never do that before.

yea, Kansas wouldn't be playing us on the MTN or time warner sports net - We have made for tv events scheduled - it will be interesting to see what BWC 1st tier looks like
