I feel kind of guilty making the BE. The ONLY reason we are in that conference is because our team is located in San Diego with a big television market.

You know the system is all about TV markets. That's why the BE invited the Univ. of South Florida in 2005. That's why Houston (which is ranked lower than us in that poll) just got an invite. #5 in population and #10 TV market. Central Florida? Orlando. #19 TV market. SMU (ranked one above us in the poll)? Dallas market. Naval Academy? Global TV viewers. Temple? Philly is the #4 TV market. In fact, in terms of TV viewers and population, if San Jose St. could rally some fan support, it seems they could provide a BE foothold in Nor Cal. That school has 26,000 students and presumably alot of alumni in the area. Unfortunately Nor Cal is all about Stanford and Berkeley.

How the F is New Mexico ahead of us.... sheesh. Maybe this has something to do with it. Coaches Poll New Mexico losses to: Texas #9 Texas Tech #24 Boise St. #25 San Diego State Losses to: Washington #26 San Jose State #39 Fresno State - No votes yet AP Poll New Mexico Losses to: Texas #11 Boise State #27 Texas Tech #30 San Diego State Losses to: Washington #23 San Jose State - No votes yet Fsesno State - No votes yet USA Today Poll New Mexico Losses to: Texas #8 Boise State #29 Texas tech # 34 San Diego Losses to: Washington #28 San Jose State #54 Fresno State #60 The polls are based on something, There is no conspiracy to help New Mexico get past San Diego State or anyone else, for that matter. Believe me, for the last three years we were brutalized in these same polls.

How the F is New Mexico ahead of us.... sheesh. New Mexico plays a tougher schedule, can't match up against Texas and TTU and gets blown out. But, then plays Boise and almost pulls an upset loosing by 3. Ranked 85th is terrible, but certainly more than deserving based on what SDSU has shown to this point.
