Good for them. Hope they are happy and do well. Meanwhile, we will be getting either the "SHELDON TRIPLETS" or the HAMILTON brothers or some or most of the above.

This could help us with Darin Johnson a bit... if the Robinsons plan on playing hoop as well, DJ would have some competition at the 2 spot. It may not bother him at all though, as he would have the advantage of being a full time hooper and is probably the better player out of all 3 of them - but the Robinsons are good enough to warrant playing time for sure.

Ewe-gene is a tough spot to recruit against. The campus size(compact), the success of their FB program coupled with the new basketball arena & Phil Knight'$ help make UofO hard to beat.

They may be hard to recruit against them but the Robinson's were not players that are close to as good as any of the 4 players we have recruited over the past 2 years. ESPN/Scout rates them as the #16 and #39 players in California. The Aztecs have a verbal from the #8 player in the state and are vying for the #3 and #10 players in the state. The Aztecs signed the #9 and the #16 players in the state last year. Oregon did sign the #62 overall player last year but we signed the #53 overall player. In basketball, the Aztecs don't take Oregon leftovers.

I'm not sure Darin is better than Tyree.

I agree, Tyree is very good. Johnson might not he far behind and not having to focus on 2 sports may be an advantage for him come November next year. Regardless, seems like he will be in the Pac 12 one way or the other anyway.

Good point, seemed like the Ducks were #1 on his list, so this may push him away from them towards SDSU.
