I say he goes to Illinois to see how life is away from home, gets homesick, transfers back to State with 2 years of eligibility.
Sound familiar?

By the time Gomes is done with him he will have 3,000 yards and the beat up body that goes along with it. See Ricky Seale...

A senior running back with 4.4 speed, but with zero offers and zero coverage from either Scout or Rivals. Strange.

Being fast and being productive does not mean you are automatically a D1 football player. Also happens more often than you think.

Plus it's only his fourth year of organized football. Probably spent 9th grade on the freshman team, 10th on JV and then promoted to Varsity. Only two years on varsity doesn't garner too much attention.

Not a big fan of his - in terms of SDSU providing a scholly. He has a ton of carries and thus yards and just doesn't seem like a back that can breakaway in D1. He sounds like an awesome person but I don't think worthy of a SDSU scholly given what we have committed for RB's and what we are recruiting.

The UT doesn't have his game stats for yesterday yet however the scoring stats look good; 1 yd, 7 yd, 56 yd, 90 yd and 2 yd TD's with a 2 point conversion, Rocky should love that, thrown in.
When a team has one offensive weapon, you would think the opposing defensive coach would game plan to stop him. The kid must be a good player, D-1? I leave that to the recruiters however he is putting up big numbers.

Ran 28 times for 239 yds for 8.5 yd average and 5 TDS and 1 2 point conversion. Wonder how much longer he stays under the radar. Any one seen him?
