#SDSU has offered Sacramento (Calif.) Sheldon PG D'Erryl Williams. He's HS and AAU teammates with Dakarai Allen and Darin Johnson.

It would be a sweet deal to be able to sign 3 guys that are already teammates. You bring in built-in team chemistry and a floor leader that has already been leading the group years before they even get to College.

ESPN listed him in the top 30 in California last year when he was a Junior. 9 of the 30 were juniors, like Williams. G D’Erryl Williams (Sheldon, Sacramento) 6-2 Jr. It was a year to remember for the Huskies, as they reached the state finals for the first time in school history where they lost in the Division I title game to Mater Dei. Williams averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. He is a guard who can penetrate, find open teammates and shoot from the outside. He already has been named the Sacramento Bee Player of the Year and joins teammate Dakarai Allen on three separate all-state teams. With the two of them and more returning, next year could be even better for the Huskies. He was offered by USC, LBSU, SF, LMU, and Fresno State.ESPN now lists him as #21 in the state and #48 PGWilliams has very long arms and he's extremely athletic. The left-hander does a tremendous job of attacking the rim in transition. Williams is a beast going to the rim and he utilizes his long arms and strength to finish through contact.

Kid sounds smooth. Good numbers and athletic ability. Seems to fit our style nicely. If it makes it a package deal lets do it then. Talk about continuity! We will have to work on big next no matter what for sure, but this would set up the back court nicely.

After sophomore year he was considered the best of the three Sheldon prospects...things change, but the three would be a strong recruiting class

If he can be at least in the Richie and DJ range with obviously a combo of more athleticism, size and explosiveness then it sounds pretty good. Maybe a Kenny Anderson type? PLUS it would be a lock for the three to all want to play together. What an opportnity in life to accomplish!!!! Yes! Sac-town pipeline. Truly helps us recruit the ENTIRE state of CA and beyond..........

I think have a damn good shot at this kid. Having his long-time friend already committed is only going to help our chances.

I guess Marquette must have someone on their staff that has west coast ties or been told to focus their attention here. They need to fouse their attention somewhere else.
Also, Marquette already has 3 comitments -1 PG and 2 SF so I am not sure why they would go after another PG too.
