According to the Governator (in an interview with Greta Van Sustren), he has received lots of offers to do all sorts of things when he leaves office next year. That includes movies deals. I am a big Arnold fan, so I hope he makes a few more movies, perhaps something similar to "True Lies." After all, he should have many ideas along those lines after serving in Sacramento. Anyone care to speculate? AzWm

I really liked True Lies. Never understood why a sequal wasn't made.

I really liked True Lies. Never understood why a sequal wasn't made. Remember the movie "Dumb and Dumber"? I hear Arnold and Grey Davis have a movie offer to pair up in "Sad and Sadder"! Seriously, I worry and wonder what will be the future of Kalifornia if we can't curb spending and the economy does not start roaring again soon.

Spending is going to be very high when we've got a population greater than Canada and any number of other countries plus some rather poor urban and rural areas. Believe it or not, I wouldn't mind seeing taxes on small businesses lowered (as I, not the government defines them, which would be any business with a payroll less than 250K a year as opposed to 500K a year), but that's just a band aid for the greater problem that as a single state, we simply have too damn many people. =Bob

If that is what you mean then how will that help when those businesses are already struggling? It would just put more people out of work. The clue is to cut spending wherever you must and to create the climate where more taxable event happen. How do you increase taxable activity? You simply cut the rates! Works every time!

No, I left out "lowered". I'll fix that. =Bob
