Who are our main recruits right now? With a lot of committments and people trimming lists, Im lost with who are our main targets are now. I know Hamilton, Dakari and Darin Johnson are a few, but seeing as we will 4-6 scholarships available after this year dependng on Jamaal and any potential transfers, who are the other guys we are recruiting? It would be foolish to bank everything on these 3 guys and a midyear transfer with no other options.

Midnight Madness on the Mesa is shaping up to be our single biggest recruiting event ever....for football or basketball I'm sure the show will represent, but we need to have a HUGE turnout for that event to get things kicked off right....for both recruiting and the season.

What football recruit will be there? I know of the basketball recruits schedule>

I just meant that this event is bigger in terms of big time recruits in one spot at an SDSU event than anything done previously for either football or basketball.
Not aware of any football recruits there, but you never know.

Just a gut call based on various twitter re-tweets from the last year, but I don't think the Hamilton Bros leave the state. I know they came to a few games last year and really like the atmostphere here (thus them coming to midnight madness) so I think we have an outside shot. In the end, they probably end up at Cal, USC or UCLA.

I don't get why USC is still such a major player for BBall recruits...their fans don't really give a chit about hoops and the Galen Center, while nice...is more like a community center off campus....They have the conference, but I think all we would need is a top notch practice facility to at least be on par with them in hoops.....obviously football is a vastly different story.

Pac-X, exposure, and NBA relevance

Walking around USC campus trying to find USC basketball fans. Excuse me, are any of you basketball fans? I follow the Clippers. I am a Lakers fan. Me too. No, I mean do you follow USC sports? The football team should be #1. How can they fall to #2 after winning so decisively? Yeah. We should be #1. No, I mean USC Basketball.

All I want for Christmas is a Smart,Fearless,Super Athletic PG and a 7' 1" 265llb Center who can walk and chew gum at the same time and has a little King Kong in him. We pretty well set with 2's 3's and 4's.....No?

Unless this 7'1" center is an amazing athlete and can run the floor, no thanks. Fisher's system is not dependent on gigantic big men, but 6'9" athletes that can run the floor and defend. See Thomas, Malcolm and White, Billy.
