One of the top games appears to be Vista @ Helix, do you think so? No. Helix is still a juggernaut, while Vista is an average team talent-wise. This isn't the Vista team from two years ago. Helix dominated last year's game IN Vista. I expect the same result this year. Vista's going to improve as the season goes on, and they've got some talen on the team, but they've had to replace too many starters to compete with a team like Helix. I'd love to see Vista win, though...

Gotta go with Poway vs. LCC Yep, that's the game to watch. Both teams won big last week. It was considered an upset last year when Poway went to LCC and won 28-14. Now they are the favorite, generally higher ranked in most prep polls, and playing at home. Should be a packed house, where Coach Gonzales has his team ready to roll again.

Yep. I was there. I predicted a final score of 42-13, and the final 43-7 isn't that far off from what I predicted (AztecWilliam can confirm my prediction, made on the way to the game). Helix is a great team. Bigger than average, strong, and VERY fast. Vista is an average team size and talent wise. From the beginning they appeared psyched out like one of Mike Tyson's pre Buster Douglas opponents. For one brief moment in the third quarter, though, it looked like they could make the game respectable. They were getting pressure on Helix's quarterback, sacking him multiple times and then forced a fumble which they recovered. On the next play Chad Richardson flashed his 2011 form and had a 35 yard TD run, making it 28-7. Helix responded with a long TD drive making sure that the game would be a blowout.

Great job calling the game without bias. At times I couldn't tell weither Vista or Helix made a play. You had the same energy for both squads. Looking forward to hearing more Vista games on HiTek Radio.

Great job calling the game without bias. At times I couldn't tell weither Vista or Helix made a play. You had the same energy for both squads. Looking forward to hearing more Vista games on HiTek Radio. Well, we try to be unbiased, but in all honesty as a Vista grad it's hard for me when the refs screw up a call to keep my cool. You should have heard me last week when the refs took a TD away from Vista (or, more accurately, didn't give them the TD). I still think the running back didn't lose the ball until he crossed the goal line... But thank you for the kind words. We do put a lot of effort into doing a webcast that fans of the other team can enjoy almost as much as the Vista fans can. When the other team is doing well we give them full credit, and when they make a big play we show some excitement because it's an exciting play! (As depressing as it may be for me as a Vista fan to see the other team make the big play I still appreciate that play for what it is and give credit for the job well done.)
