We found a young couple who hosted us in their new home to watch the game in high def on the Pacific Fudge conference TV network. Weesel and his pac-fudge honkers were in their usual arrogant and omnipotent forms.
Well after watching this game, the young couple who hosted us to watch the big pac-fudge screw job came away as 100% converts that the fact is the pac-fudge using the refs and TV, cheat to keep their teams from losing. They were astonished how bad the refs hand-gifted the calls to the Utub Huskers. The non-calls on the Pass Interference on Escobar (husker has right hand holding Esco's hip and the left hand tipping the ball), the first drive where the husker player blocked out the Aztec receiver from the spot to catch the ball, and the other plays you can recall. The biggest gripe they talked about was the close-line on Katz and having it cause the fumble. They, again, the young couple not too familiar with college football, were stunned on the ground causing the fumble non-call wherein the ball was scooped up and return for a cheater touchdown. The grounding non-calls. Yeah, not one but three! Wow.
On the second husker touchdown the pass was to the husker receiver across the line of scrimmage and if you watch the replay the husker number 75 is ten yards past the line of scrimmage. Another non-call by the pac-fudge.
Um. The pass attempt covered by McFadden, where the refs did get it right. The husker pushed off, just like back on 9-8-2001 when, with a radio and TV blackout and police with guns protecting the entire perimeter of the football field, the Airahzona Wildcats did this three consecutive times, at home against the Aztecs for touchdowns, and caught the presumed touchdown pass and then went into his celebration, "attitude" movements which he did not get a celebration penalty. The thing that stood out about this was that the arrogant husker receiver got so mad. The ref was not supposed to call this on him. He was supposed to get away with a offensive pass interference. I'd bet the huskers and the refs met before the game and scripted the whole gig. Do you remember the USC hosting Hawai'i game from about seven years ago? A lalaland timmie reported wrote an article the next morning. They caught the USC players and the refs scripting the penalty calling before the game.
Okay, so there was a lot more stuff. But as an Aztec we have to get ready to tailgate at home and beat Armee. I don't think we "let this go". Whose up to commit to talking to at least ten people in the next four days and convincing them that the pac-fudge cheats using refs? Actually based upon the history of the pac-fudge, you'll probably succeed pretty easily.
I was thinking despite my wife's pleas, that the Aztecs should come up with a new tradition at all football games. If you remember the ayr farce game on CBS two season ago when the refs screwed up a punt fumble and ruled against the Aztecs? The Aztec crowd boo'd for a long, long time. In fact, CBS to silence the booing heard clearly by the TV audience, went to commercials, and to many commercials. After a real long commercial break, CBS had to tune back into the game, and when they did, the Aztec booing was still going on, strong as ever. After a few plays and a series between both teams, the booing was still there. The CBS announcers finally made mention of it, but briefly. We should do this at all games. Boo the refs as a commemorative...to the cheatin pac-fudge conference...and brown yellow underwhere.
Facts of life: death, taxes, and pac-fudge cheatin' refs.
Hail Aztec Montezuma

I think we all see things in a game like this where we get bad calls. The worst for me was on the first interception. Our receiver was interfered with and the drive was over. The next was the run where it was blown dead 15 yards before the back was stopped. We will win some games this year and look much better than we did in the first quarter last night.

I just watched the first drive on TV after being there in person this past weekend. I can't believe the huskie defender didn't get called for Pass Int. or at least illegal contact on that first interception. It wasn't a question of being in Lockett's way as he tried to cut to the left.. the huskie put his right shoulder into lockett and ducked his head. The only thing is that Lockett should have sold it more and either have fallen down or continued to try to get to the ball. That was a huge drive killer. Also I didn't know that on that bad snap on first down Dingwell was in there for a play so I'm thinking maybe it was gonna be a designed run? Terrible call though by the ref.

I can not read anything you post anymore. It gives me a headache. I guess the Pac-12 didn't do enough to make Cal win in their renovated stadium opener. They will probably be fired now for not making sure Cal won.

My posts are not designed for reading. You just don't get it do you? Geez. Did you see the Nevada at the Cal-comm game? Did ya? Did you see the CUb versus the CSU Foot Colon Lamb game also? You think after the MWC beat the pac-fudge in two earlier games, that the head of the pac-fudge conference was going to let the MWC get a hat trick, ta-boot? With Hockalee ref-ing? Helmet to helmet, no call. Clothes line to the neck. No call. PI on Escobar no call. PI on the first interception, no call. On and on and you have a headache? Like whats-his-name posted, "...bring me the whaaaaaambulance." Hail Aztec Montezuma!

I am still trying to figure out if your posts are sarcastic and meant to be funny or if you are really a conspiracy theorist. It just sucks that you don't give credit to Nevada or Colorado St. for their wins. I guess any time a lower team wins or loses a Pac-12 team it is the refs fault.

It just sucks that you don't give credit to Nevada or Colorado St. for their wins. I guess any time a lower team wins or loses a Pac-12 team it is the refs fault. The original Aztectalk started by the illustrious, infamous, and bungie enthusiast, Zip debuted in August 2000. I was number 34 poster. My posts are for those who have a history of the Aztecs, a history of the cheatin' UCLA, fran and ollie, a history of Don Coryell, and a history of Southern California collegiate athletics and academics. As far a funny...ah not really. I think that there are several sublime layers of "funny". Comedy has slapstick, dark comedy, farce, humor, tongue-in-cheek, vulgar, sarcasum, slight, ridicule...am I missing a bunch? To just label anything, this or that, dark or light, up or down..."...you're in and your out, up or your down...we kiss and make up..." great tune! is to miss out on all the other slants at life. Conspiracy involves governments. For my piss on the pac-fudge twelve, it's collusion. Can I post that word? Soooorrrrrreeee. But, I give my great, heartfelt Rams and Wolfpack a big YEAH!! for their stellar wins over the PFC! No. Don't get me wrong, I love when our conference buddies beat them (edited) of the pac-fudge conferences. I give them 100% credit. Oh, and to know me? I give many people headaches, ta-boot!! "brown yellow underwear, clap. clap. clapclapclap!" Hail Aztec Montezuma!

I think this is why it is so important that the Aztecs get away from these money games and into home and home series with neutral refs or at least our own conference refs at the home games.

Hail Aztec Montezuma For the longest time, I thought only BYU fans acted like this. But I guess you are the exception to the rule. Quite embarrassing. Both, on you and even I am embarrassed to be a sdsu alumn/fan. Not because of their performance but because of the way our fans are acting and how their ignorance is blinding them.

There are sveral teams that refuse to play the roadies w/o refs from a neutral conference! There are always neutral refs whenever teams play at a neutral place. But I think it would be a smart idea to do it for non conference games as well. But it may be easier said than done since these refs get paid per game and this may be taking games away. But if they can find a way where that doesnt happen, then neutral refs for a non-conference game would be best for both sides.
